Different styles

Updated: May 8

So many things happened since I last updated my posts. Amazing how time flies when we are having fun. I decided I needed to take a break from my regular flower artwork and took the time to play with pastel and charcoal. I always loved to draw and to be honest, I don't really know why I stopped. I guess I just got caught in this swirling watercolour life where my mind thinks we have to excel in only one subject and one medium to be suitable and understood. Gee! Really. Is that what we need to do in order for people to appreciate what we do or is that a mitt? You tell me.

Would you like to see videos of my work?

Here are some of the drawings and paintings I've done lately

Pastel portrait. I'm thrilled with the result, how about you?

Thank you, Alonso Reyes from Unsplash, for the beautiful reference picture of the lady

Another pastel painting. It's a new medium, so it will take some time to get used to it, but I genuinely enjoy it.
